Vekover ecowool wool gives the efficient heat insulation, strong heat productivity, air permeability, fire safety and moisture resistance. It is easily mounted and it is possible to insert in the finest cracks, filing in compact electric wire pipes and other building constructions being difficult for insulation.

Thermal conductivity
Vekover ecowool wool is the efficient insulant (λ= 0.039-0.041W/mK). The primary raw material of the product – the natural wood fiber - provides outstanding heat insulation properties of the ecowool wool, making the product to be light, with the fine-grained structure and high air content. The necessary density of the material is achieved in the process of production thereof, wherein the waste paper is divided into fine fibers. Because of the density air is kept very well in the material enabling to use heat insulation capability of the dead air.       

Air permeability
Vekover is the breathing heat insulation material. Owing to this property making the building warmth-keeping  with the help of ecowool wool the ideal microclimate is provided in the premises, 85 – 92 % of air contains in the ecowool wool, which major share is in the ecowool wool pores. Air permeability of the ecowool wool is 80... 120 x 10-6 (150 x 106) m3/ ms Pa according to the density in dry form 30,6...40,0 kg/m3.         

Fire safety
The ecowool wool retards fire coming into a building owing to the fire-retarding matters – boric acid, which do not only allow catching fire to the ecowool wool but when the temperature increases the ecowool wool also emits the bound water, thus extinguishing the flame. Vekover ecowool wool meets the fire safety class B1 according to DIN 4102.  

Humidity regulation
Buildings that have been encased for warmth-keeping applying Vekover ecowool wool do not need  the use of the construction film in order to draw off condensate, as the natural moist regulation is characteristic of the ecowool wool. Eco cotton wool raw material – wood fibers – may involve humidity and give back it, in this case not losing its insulating capacity.    

Application of the ecowool wool is one of the economically beneficial types of encasing buildings for warmth-keeping.  It enables to save the material during the construction, as when applying there are no remainders of the material. When applying the ecowool wool all cracks and emptiness are filled in, which provides the warmth-keeping and allow saving the energy for heating a house. When providing encasing for warmth-keeping the ecowool wool is sprayed into a building constructions, thus insulant comes into cracks and it is able to cover dense all the constructions. The ecowool wool forms a dense continuous layer of insulation without leaving the areas of connection through which the heat leakage might take place. A building encased for warmth-keeping does not need any additional ventilation. Owing to the antiseptic properties the ecowool wool prevents wooden building constructions from decay which extends the service life of a building.
